Wow! Still in awe of your journey. I can't imagine doing the journey solo. God's beauty is everywhere around you. Hope you get to feeling better soon. Take a day off if that's what your body needs!
Keep safe and enjoying your jouney.

Ey Yukon Biker Bill, I see your at day 84. Seems like your meeting a ton of people from all over the world. Keep yelling at those bears. How is your voice. I'm enjoying the pics and agree the pics don't do justice to the real look.
What exactly is a great breakfast. It's had to believe you broke a chain. bummer but great to see you can get a repair. Take care and bike steady!!!!!

Bill Wednesday, June 29, 2016 11:55 PM
Hey Kach, you are the only yooper I've heard from so far, thanks for following. About every morning I have, water, coffee, orange juice, bacon and eggs, wheat toast and jelly, hash browns and a pancake. Can't wait for breakfast now!

Hey Dick, thanks for the message. It's always good to hear from old friends. I may have to consider a DVD, or YouTube link, but I do plan to write a book.

Still following your journey and enjoying the "ride" with you. Glad you are making noises in bear country. As long as you don't surprise them, you'll be golden. The natural beauty I know is even better than the pictures and the pictures are stunning! My son did a bike ride from San Francisco to DC. He said it was life changing. I'm sure you are having a similar experience. Super happy you are doing well and continue tb safe! Keep on truckin....

Bill Friday, June 24, 2016 10:43 PM
Melissa, you are right that the pictures don't do the scenery justice. Your son understands how this can change your life. I appreciate your comments!

Go Bill! The good thing is that the daylight hours should be getting longer for your rides. I still follow daily. I wish I could Motor up and share a beer somewhere but the timing wont work out for me. Be Safe! Dont worry about the bears, they arent interested in lean muscle..

Bill Thursday, June 23, 2016 01:50 AM
Thanks Jorge for still following. Yes having a beer with you again would be great. You may have to come to the Midwest when I get back. No bear attacks yet!

I know that this journey has been so much more than raising awareness for BBBS and scenery. I know how healing being in nature can be. The photos and journal have been a joy to read. Keep being safe my friend!!!

Bill Wednesday, June 22, 2016 01:10 AM
You are so right Melissa, I'm totally in awe from the scenery, but the great people I'm meeting, the time to reflect and the discovery of my ability and limitations has been enlightening.

Hey Yukon, Congrats on crossing into Canada. According to my daily travel log, you covered 3,738 miles from Key West to Roosvill Montana. At days end you should reach the 4,000 mile mark. Looks like you will be in the Yukon soon. Also, your American dollar is worth $1.30 in Canada, so make sure and get your monies worth. Dan Man.

Bill Friday, June 17, 2016 03:39 PM
Thanks for the stats, I know there are days I'm riding several miles but not progressing on my route as I'm trying to take in scenery. Once I get past Jasper, I see picking up the pace again.

Hey, I've been meaning to say "hey y'all" to all my friends down south in the U. P. And the lower 49. Actually had a little snow flakes here in Banff today. Didn't see any titles at the crossing but saw my first bear on my ride today. Stay tuned.

Wow Bill. Your trip has been ahhhhmazing so far! Montana looks beautiful! I took a 5.5 mile bike ride last week and my "bucket" was sore. I can't imagine almost 3000 miles!
Have enjoyed your photos and journaling. Sounds like you're meeting some wonderful people too.
Sending you good vibes into bear country. Make nouse and sing out loud....that should keep 'em hiding from you. Lol
Stay safe!
