Still enjoying reading about your journey. I gotta tell you, I'm tired reading about the miles, you must be exhausted!?! I remember my son telling me the last miles he did on his 3600+ride were the toughest AND the most exhilarating in knowing what he DID accomplish! Your ride is longer and you are 3xs older thanthan he was! High five!!! Super proud of your journey and I'm also enjoying reading about all of the amazing people you are meeting along the way. You're right about the bears, as long as they hear you and you don't upset their cubs, they typically won't bother you. The scenery from your pictures really solidifies the awesome beauty of God all around us. Keep staying safe my friend. 😀

Thank you Melissa, that must have been a great experience for your son. The new scenery I rode into today has put a new spark in me, and when I hit Alaska, although the roads there will be the most challenging, I know I will be driven to complete the journey.
